Scroll saw chuck is a good product but the steel screw wares out the threads on the chuck would like to see a heilcoil used to stop the ware

I replaced the upper and lower chucks on my
Jet 22. The install was easy, and the quality of the new chucks is nice. I wish they were less expensive, but they are well made and I am happy with the conversion. I would have given 5 stars if the cost was lower.

the Chuck Heads on my King Scroll Saw from day one were not very good to the point I didn't like using it. I found Pegas Chuck head on the inter web and bought them, WOW major difference. Easy to install and a lot easier to use with a very secure fit of the blade. If you are having trouble with you chuck head these are well worth the price!

Had no issue installing the chuck on a DW788.
However, I must have missed the direction on where the lever should be for proper function. Thank to Michael Murray, my issues were quickly resolved and am successfully cutting out patterns. Time will tell if the lever pops up on its own again.

Upper and Lower Scroll Saw Blade Clamp Replacement Set. These new “Blade Chuck Heads” (also known as Scroll Saw Blade Clamps) were developed in Switzerland by Pégas in association with the HEIG engineering school in Yverdon.

The studies and the tests demonstrated that the weight of these heads is in direct relation with the service life and the vibrations of the machine.
