What is the best part about Walrus Oil? Well, that is hard to answer, but one of its best features is being easy to use. You work hard to create, design, carve, sand. Use a wood finishing oil that will make your project last a lifetime.
How to Apply Furniture Finish Oil
For best results, prepare unfinished wood by sanding to approximately 220–600 grit and removing all dust.
- Shake the container well before use.
- Apply a thin, even coat using a clean cloth, brush, or applicator.
- Allow the oil to penetrate and cure for 12–24 hours.
- Wipe away any excess oil that remains on the surface.
- Repeat with additional thin coats until the desired level of protection is achieved.
For deeper penetration into dense hardwoods, the oil may be thinned with a natural solvent during the initial coat.
