How to Apply
For unfinished wood, sand the surface to approximately 220–400 grit.
For previously used boards:
- Clean and completely dry the surface.
- Apply a thin layer of Wood Wax using a lint-free cloth or non-woven pad.
- Allow the wax to sit for approximately 15 minutes.
- Buff away any excess with a clean cloth until the surface feels smooth.
For maximum protection, apply Cutting Board Oil first, allow it to absorb according to its instructions, then finish with Wood Wax.
Reapply every 1–2 months for heavily used cutting boards or whenever the wood begins to appear dry.
