MicroClimate Air3
Easy to Wear
After a few minutes wearing Air3, you will forget you are wearing a respirator. Batteries and electronics are located low near the front. This helps Air3 achieve the best balance in the industry. When looking up or down, the respirator stays in position for all day comfort without neck strain.
The powered blower maintains positive pressure inside the respirator, so a seal against the face is not required. This means that Beards are allowed with this type of respirator.
The Visor has the largest field of view in the industry. Users may wear eye glasses, and phones may be unlocked with face recognition.
Users may also wear headphones with microphones. The patented silicone suspension keeps the blower quiet, so voice assistants and phone call's work with MicroClimate Air3
Easy to Operate
The large power button in front is easy to operate, even with gloves on. A multi color LED and alarm provide feedback when the battery is charging, battery full, and low battery. The alarm also sounds when low flow is detected (plugged filters).
Air3 is the first NIOSH approved respirator to use USB-c. Onboard batteries provide over 8 hours of runtime. For longer use, an external battery pack may be connected via the USB-c port to charge Air3 while running. Unlimited continuous runtime is possible with Air3.
Easy to Own
Air3's total cost of ownership is much less than other powered respirators, and on par with conventional.
Replacement of the filters, visor, tearoff and shroud are intuitive and simple, requiring no tools.
MicroClimate engineers designed and tested Air3 to assure long term durability. Electronics are conformal coated to resist harsh environments. MicroClimate stands behind their products with a warranty among the best in the industry.
Available wall mount and other accessories make storing and caring for Air3 easy and straightforward.
Air3 was designed to be intuitive, needing no explanation. However, if you ever do have questions, our engineers in Provo, Utah are available by phone or email to support you.
Easy Compliance
OSHA Respiratory Protection Programs are far simpler when using MicroClimate Air3 respirators. As a NIOSH approved loose fitting PAPR, no fit testing is required. Beards are allowed, so there is no need to enforce daily shaving in the workforce.
Air3 is so comfortable, many professionals leave them while on break. Wearers can unlock a phone, read a text, and take a call all while wearing Air3.
Easy to Purchase
Air3 is a fraction of the price of other PAPR’s. Its patented monocoque manifold combines functions down to just 45 components, simplifying assembly and reducing costs.
Air3 is the only powered respirator that's sold factory direct. This helps keep prices down, and means everyone pays the same low price. No salesman to negotiate terms and contracts.
