exactly what I needed

We had purchased two "high torque" clock movements for our large clock but they didn't work as expected. The Bear Woods' movement hasn't missed a "tick" since we installed it. The clock hands were carefully packaged and everything arrived in great condition.

The item seems to be of good quality. I didnât open the back to look at the internals, seemed lighter than I thought it would be though. Worked fine and keeps time well. I gave it a four because I felt it could be less expensive, but also it didnât come with the rubber back washer or a spacer for between the hour and minute hand that I expected it to come with.

Install a FRESH Duracell or Energizer Battery (But not a rechargeable type). In our experience, these are the only batteries that are reliable for clock mechanisms. Sometimes you will even try a separate pack as not all new packs have perfect batteries.
