Upper and Lower Scroll Saw Blade Clamp Replacement Set. These new “Blade Chuck Heads” (also known as Scroll Saw Blade Clamps) were developed in Switzerland by Pégas in association with the HEIG engineering school in Yverdon.
The studies and the tests demonstrated that the weight of these heads is in direct relation with the service life and the vibrations of the machine.

1) These new heads, manufactured with aeronautical aluminum for resilience and optimal weight, are 40 % lighter than you original Heads.

As you can see, they are clearly more compact than original heads and even easier of use. The assembly of these new Heads is very simple and takes only a few minutes.

Aeronautical Grade Aluminum clamp.

There is a swivel on the end of the thumb screw that contacts with the blade. Instead of the blade spinning when you tighten it down, the swivel stays in place on the blade allowing the thumb screw to rotate without turning the blade.

Assembly was quick and easy. My Jet scroll saw has been sitting idle for months, and it's great to have it running again. With the new heads, blade changes are quick and tool-free. The saw is running smoothly, and I am glad I made this purchase.

Very disappointed, as the chuck slips constantly during cuts. I contacted support and worked with their resident expert, but none of the suggestions helped. Unfortunately, this defect is costing me money in ruined blades and workpieces. My old worn-out OEM chuck worked better, but since it's beyond repair, I'm stuck with what seems to be a lemon. Beyond the slipping, the top thumb screw binds up horribly right out of the box due to poorly cut threading on the upper chuck. I wanted to love this upgrade, but the build quality and performance didn't live up to expectations, especially as a long-time customer.

I love my Dewalt scroll saw, and after getting the Pegas chuck heads I love it even more. It has even less vibration than it had before, and changing blades are so much easier and faster. I definitely recommend these heads. Roger Harper

Perfect replacement for the cracked head.

It took me.a little while too figure out how to get them on my Jet scroll saw properly...
They work as good as i was hoping they would.
Now i can use the spiral blades on.my jet
