Absolutely almost perfect.clock insert. The almost related to its fit into my mount, for which the sizing required my manipulation (rubber bands to enlarge round round clock for it to snug into my base). That problem entirely not Bearwood's fault as the range of dimensions made available allowed me to make my best selection. I quite like the quality product! It is exactly what I wanted, and to date, it has kept perfect time as compared to electronic media. In comparison to the many other web site vendors, Bearwood's array of products and efficiency providing my investigation of available products, thru completing the order and receiving the clock having been carefully packaged, all was excellent!

Tips

Install a FRESH Duracell or Energizer Battery (But not a rechargeable type). In our experience, these are the only batteries that are reliable for clock mechanisms. If that doesn't work, also try a battery from a separate pack - this seems to help on many occasions too.

Our soft gasket mounting system allows you some flexibility about the size of the actual mounting hole. You can adapt these new inserts to a 1/8 inch larger hole size by removing the soft rubber gasket, and wrapping the back of the insert with plumbers Teflon tape or electrical tape to “build up” the back of these insert clocks. Then re install the soft rubber gasket to adapt to fit a larger mounting hole.
