I love this machine. My mom passed away 5 months ago and I’m struggling so much with grief and missing her. I started wood-burning 2 months ago. Wood-burning (sketches) has really helped me just take my mind off of this horrendous soul-crushing sadness for just periodic moments. I went through multiple cheap pens and a machine from hobby lobby, which all broke. Finally, after reading reviews and doing research, I decided on the Colwood Super Pro II. Best decision. ❤️

This is my first Colwood buy, hence I was a little apprehensive. I used it right away after receiving it, for a week now before I form an opinion. The heat is very steady, quick on and off, the heads I got work perfectly for my pyrography ( I also burned Sanskrit , came out very nice). The cord of the pen is kind of heavy for me, but that did not affect my writing. Although its price is high for a ‘starving artist’ like me 😂 , but I’d rather pay more for quality. In short , I’m happy with my wood burner, which now is my partner in all projects involved pyrography. Totally recommend it.
