50's Power Wagon Pattern

Hello, I ordered this plan, and the Ford Stake Bed Truck plan, as I was looking for a more detailed model rather than a toy. These looked to fit the bill and, on receiving them, am pleased to say that they are both even better than I expected. The drawings are full scale fully dimensioned drawings, and look to be of a professional standard. They are clear and easy to read with useful instructions. I would have no hesitation in buying more plans in the future. The process of ordering from the UK proved to be no more trouble than ordering from within the UK and the delivery, by small parcel airmail, took hardly any longer. One thing I would mention for UK buyers is that there is an import duty to pay on delivery which, in my case, for the two plans was £11.70 (about $15) but this in no way detracts from the quality of the plans which is excellent. Thankyou to BearWoods.

Tips

Each Toys and Joys Pattern is a full sized blueprint style pattern, complete with scale drawings and measurements of each part. You can also reference the tab "Recommended Parts" for some popular items required by the pattern that you can buy (or make).

Here's some tools we suggest that will help you to work with most of the Toys and Joys patterns.

Band Saw or other saw to cut the body pieces.
Drill Press
Power Sander: Disc Sander / Belt Sander Combination)
Table Saw
Router
Spindle Sander (Not required but can be useful)
Small clamps (Rubber Bands can be used in some cases)
Scroll Saw (Nice to have, but not required)
Lathe (Only required for a 3 models) (Locomotives, & Ready Mix Truck)
Some hand tools can be useful.

Plus of course some Glue - we recommend our Titebond Glue
