Restored two decorative clocks

I bought two of these movements to restore function to two whimsical wall clocks that we'd received as Christmas gifts some years ago and had always enjoyed looking at. After mistakenly buying "I-shaft" movements from another vendor which couldn't accommodate the original hand sets, I bought two of these. They were easy to fit and install, all three hands fit perfectly, the pendulums function great, and they're keeping very accurate time. Very happy!

Clock Motor Fits & Works Well

I needed a long shaft clock motor to replace one on a specially made artistic clock that stopped working. This one works perfectly! And it was a plus that it was constructed in the European style so my old clock hands worked with this new motor as well! The only downside was that it took over a week for it to arrive here.

Install a FRESH Duracell or Energizer Battery (But not a rechargeable type). In our experience, these are the only batteries that are reliable for clock mechanisms. Sometimes you will even try a separate pack as not all new packs have perfect batteries.
