I am pleased with the items purchased. They arrived a day or two earlier than expected - which was nice. I had ease of installation with no mishaps. The movement is working nicely and is keeping good time.

I am very satisfied. The clock I own was made mid-nineteenth century. At some point (probably the 1940's-1950's) the original works had been removed and an electric motor installed. The clock face was retained along with the cast so its original appearance is intact. I despaired at finding a new movement when the electric motor died. I wanted a new movement that would allow me to keep the original clock face. Your website was helpful in understanding installation and adaptation of a quartz movement to an older clock. I am happy with my choice. Thank you.

Unfortunately the shaft thickness of the clock mechanism I ordered was too thin for the clock whose mechanism I was changing. Perhaps I just didn't understand your measurements as listed but I couldn't find any reference to the shaft thickness. For people like me an indication of this important detail would certainly be a help.

Delivery was good as was the packaging. Keep up the good work. This is not the last mechanism I will be ordering from you.

I have ordered more than once from Bearwood and I am very satisfied with the product and the service. I use these clock movements for hobby projects and the choices available are outstanding. The only negative is that the second hand needs to be offered in more colors than just red. I have had to paint some white to match my project. Just press in all the hands at 12 o'clock position. Then make sure that the hands are parallel to each other. Next adjust the time to the local time, watching carefully that when the hands are passing each other, they have enough space between them. That is it. The clock is keeping good time for several days now.

I jave been very proud to tell the customer that it is made in America. Yes they cost a little more than the chinese ones but not much.

This was for an outdoor terra cotta clock. It has stopped a couple of times in the two weeks since installation, but it works when it's reset to the right time. The customer service person was very helpful, more helpful than the website, which is hard to navigate.

Install a FRESH Duracell or Energizer Battery (But not a rechargeable type). In our experience, these are the only batteries that are reliable for clock mechanisms. Sometimes you will even try a separate pack as not all new packs have perfect batteries.
