Scroll saw cuts nice, very low vibration and blade changes are fairly easy. Not a big fan of the hold down, constantly has to be adjusted.The tightening knob is on the left making difficult considering the air hose is right next to the hold down knob.

I’m brand new to scroll sawing and the Pegas 21” scroll saw was an Amazing purchase! I bought this saw because of all the inspirational people on Instagram who are making incredible cut and shaped items! I have 2 lasers so I’m not new to wood working. I’m kinda doing this backwards (it seems those who have scroll saws are now incorporating lasers to assist with there creative ideas). I’ve never used a scroll saw before but I was quickly able to cut my first design with ease. The Pegas saw allowed me to take my idea and turned it into a beautiful piece of art! I did some research and purchased the multipurpose blades and find them easy to change and to cut with. The sky is the limit to creating beautiful designs with the Pegas Scroll Saw!

I had spent the last few decades making do with an old craftsman. I wanted to upgrade to a premium saw 1 time - and only 1 time. Communication was great from Bear Woods keeping me apprised of things. My scroll saw was still on a ship so it took a couple weeks. When they said it had shipped, I received it and the stand the next day. I had an issue with the blade not being centered, but customer support helped me solve that. It was packed very well and had no damage. The upper arm is very hard to move, and I haven’t solved that yet. I found the owners manual not particularly helpful. It talks about things that are not labeled well in the owners manual.

A) Let’s start with a beefed up chassis featuring a B) reinforced web in the connecting rod and vertical rocker and C) needle bearings pressed into the rocker arm as opposed to a sleeve and bolt connection that is prone to wear and failure.
