Install a FRESH Duracell or Energizer Battery (But not a rechargeable type). In our experience, these are the only batteries that are reliable for clock mechanisms.

Not all tick tocks are created equal

Little bit of a journey to get to this review. I bought one of these clocks and the plastic lens was cracked. Bear Woods promptly sent me a replacement. Great! However, I used the clock as a desk clock. The first one with the crack was on my desk for about a week working fine. When I got the replacement, I swapped it out and very soon I'm hearing the tick toc and that gets a little annoying. I put the original back in and it is half (subjective) as loud. So if you are going to use these in a quiet setting, keep that in mind. I did swap out the lens between the 2 and I have a nice desk clock now.

The clock is just what I needed for the Steve Good pattern. However, when I opened the bubble wrap, there was a crack in the clock face.
I would actually like to order another one so I have 2 but wondering if you can offer a replacement for the 1st one.

Measured the clock-base cavity diameter, ordered clock based on inside diameter of clock..fit perfectly. Put battery into the clock and works well keeping perfect time.
