All Bear Woods Dowel Rods are kiln dried, clear, smooth, straight and accurately sized. Our five eighths by thirty six inch Maple doweling is made from high quality wood, and is North American made. North American made Dowel Rods are made with a higher quality and standard than those imported.

1) For different quantities or a combinations of sizes, contact us and we will do our best to help.
2) Mix and Match "Box" quantities of any of our Maple, Oak, Cherry, Walnut, Hickory, Mahogany, Poplar or Teak wood dowel rods to obtain our best quantity price per box.
For Example: If you buy 1 box (any size) of say Maple, 1 box of Oak and 1 box of Maple dowels for a total of 3 boxes you will get the lower 3 box price for each box ordered.
3) Our specialty dowels are made to order. Allow a lead time of 1 - 4 weeks. We accept returns of this non-stock item for defects in workmanship only. For faster shipping, contact us and we will see what we can do.

My order of hard maple dowels, and when I checked, they exceeded the plus/minus tolerance. When I followed up with them they immediately accepted responsibility, said to just keep those - free (will share with my woodworkers association). Per their request, I sent them a sample of the hole diameter we work with, so the replacements will be the correct fit. Quick response, quick acceptance of responsibility. We will continue to order from them for our business dowel needs.
Everything arrived in a timely fashion. Items were well-packaged and undamaged.
The only thing I would like to have seen would be a smaller package ( I only needed 50 but the package contained 100)
