I replaced the clock movements and hands on a clock. Worked out perfectly. Clock is as good as new! The shipping was quick and reasonabe compared to another company I found online. I would definitely purchase from Bear Woods again. Be sure to measure the everything so you order the right parts.I needed the high torque movement. And know that you will need new hands in order to propery fit the new motor thingy. Keeps perfect time so far! So much nicer than replacing a clock that I love.

Needed to replace the movement in my clock. This one fit seamlessly and I believe my previous movement was not high torque rated. Ordered the new hands to ensure a proper fit. My old hands look like they may have fit but didnÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t want to take a chance. Very pleased with the operation and look.

Bought our second clock motor and hands from Bear Woods. Again, very happy. We were replacing the originals on an expensive Pottery Barn clock that just could not keep time. The hands were the same color as the clock so they couldn't be seen. The clock is so much better now and keeps perfect time.

I have been making spool clocks and using high torque movements from other suppliers. I switched from those because of the high failure rate. So far this seems to be better made. Hopefully it continues to work as planned

Tips

Install a FRESH Duracell or Energizer Battery (But not a rechargeable type). In our experience, these are the only batteries that are reliable for clock mechanisms. Sometimes you will even try a separate pack as not all new packs have perfect batteries.
