Bear Woods was the only one of four other clock parts distributors that responded by a human to help me figure out which mech to get for my giant clock. The rep was quick to answer my follow up questions about delivery. After finally getting the part mounted and then waiting for my own batteries to arrive, the clock works perfectly. I won't let anyone else but their hands on my clock than Bear Woods.

Everything arrived on time, but due to rough handling by the postal service, the minute hand had poked through the end of the box; however, it was not damaged. Maybe a cork put on the end of longer clock hands might solve the problem.

Tips

Install a FRESH Duracell or Energizer Battery (But not a rechargeable type). In our experience, these are the only batteries that are reliable for clock mechanisms. Sometimes you will even try a separate pack as not all new packs have perfect batteries.
