- Do NOT use too much pressure when installing
How to Assemble
Please refer to the image 3 above to guide your clock mechanism installation/replacement.
Install a FRESH Duracell or Energizer Battery (But not a rechargeable type). In our experience, these are the only batteries that are reliable for clock mechanisms. Sometimes you will even try a separate pack as not all new packs have perfect batteries.

The clock movement and hands were correct as advertised. The movement is accurate in keeping time. I added two small washers to the clock post to prevent the top minute hand from flopping and catching on the hour hand. Just tightening the outer decorative nut alone was not enough to stabilize the minute hand, but adding the two washers solved the problem. I am happy with my purchase and would buy this item again if needed. Delivery was timely and parts were packed well so no damage occurred in shipping. In my application I used two sided carpet tape to mount the movement and it worked very well.
We have a very large wooden clock that stopped working. I search all over to find the replace mechanism but nothing worked. We almost gave up on it and then I found Bear Woods. The clock is working perfectly now!
