Make a clock that combines a tide movement with a traditional quartz clock movement.

This USA Made quartz Time and Tide movement tells you both the time as well as the tide! It has the ability to run the standard hour, minute and second hands as well as a tide hand. 5/16" threaded shaft for up to 1/4" dial thickness.

Retro fitted this movement into an old Harold Miller Tide clock. had to shim it back into case becuase the glass was too low , and could not use the second hand. but it works fine and seems to stay close to our SC coastal tide.

Tips

Install a FRESH Duracell or Energizer Battery (But not a rechargeable type). In our experience, these are the only batteries that are reliable for clock mechanisms.
