Modified Geometry Scroll Saw Blades #7R - Swiss Quality

Swiss made Pégas Modified Geometry Scroll Saw Blades tooth design minimizes burning, tolerates aggressive feed rates, and expels chips extremely fast. This leaves a smooth finish and cuts patterns accurately.

These blades can be used on soft and hard wood. It is also well suited for plastic. If you are currently using Olson PGT or Mach blades you will love our Modified Geometry blades. The right blade makes all the difference.

Pegasus blades have improved my scrolling. My favourite blades are the modified variety which I find cut easily through 3/4Ã¢â‚¬Â red oak, walnut, cherry and hard maple. I find these blades break less, last longer than other makes and find I can more keep better contact with the pattern line.

I do a LOT of scroll sawing, and decided to try these Pegas blades. I have been very pleased with their performance. The #7 works very well even in hard 3/4" thick woods such as oak. They even work on 1 1/2" thick oak.

The blades also seem to last longer than others and they leave little, if any, tearout on the bottom side of the workpiece. Since I do so much work on the scroll saw, this has been saving time (and aggravation) by having to do so little sanding.

I highly recommend giving these blades a try.

This is the second time I have purchased these blades from Bear Woods. The #7 blade does an excellent job on hardwoods. I use this blade for 4/4 and 6/4 poplar and even oak, and the blade does an excellent job of cutting with very little "fuzzing" on the bottom of the cut. The blades also last a long time before dulling or breaking.

Bear Woods offers great service. They fill and ship orders quickly, which is important to me as a business owner.

I run a woodworking business, and use the scroll saw every day. The Pegas Modified Geometry blades are my go-to blades. I have tried other brands in the past, but none of them measure up to the Pegas. I even ran a test against other blades in my shop and the Pegas Modified Geometry blades were by far the best. They are fast-cutting and leave only a tiny amount of tear-out on the bottom of the workpiece. You owe it to yourself to try these blades.

I am fairly new to scrolling, and have tried many blades already, and Pegas MG blades are my favorite! These blades cut smooth and easily around all of the woods I have been using, including Cherry. I have tried other scroll saw blades, but pegas blades to are the best blades you can get , and bearwood's is the only place that I order from now because they always have what I want in stock , I have ordered from other places before and I had to wait for up to 2 weeks to get my order , the folks at bearwood really care about their customers

Excellent blades. They give a smooth clean cut and last longer then any standard blade that I have ever used. I love the fact that I have little or no tear out on my work. Also, with such a smooth cut I have reduced my sanding and trimming time drastically.
