Swiss made Pégas Modified Geometry Scroll Saw Blades tooth design minimizes burning, tolerates aggressive feed rates, expels chips extremely fast. This leaves a smooth finish and cuts patterns accurately.

These Blades can be used on soft and hard wood. It is also well suited for plastic. If you are currently using Olson PGT or Mach blades you will love our Modified Geometry blades.

Thank you so much for making my purchases the best ever. From the blades themselves, to shipping and customer service. Bearwood is the only place I will purchase my Pegas blades and other items. Only way I will not purchase through yall is if y'all don't carry what I need. I couldn't be happier with any and all purchases or customer service! I will proudly promote bearwood because I am a believer in this company. Stephen and his wife are amazing people!!! As far as the blades I ordered. I ordered the sample pack of mod geometry. I will use all them but the ones I use most are #3 and #5. I use the others depending on type and thickness of the wood in which I'm using. But #3 and #5 are my go to and can use in just about any material I use. I also got the scroll saw sanding pads but haven't used them yet. Not sure I will use them much because the Pegas blades cut so good, my projects come out clean with little or no sanding. Thanks again for such a great experience!!!!

I wrote to the company asking why my #3 blades kept breaking. Most before they were even able to be used- they would break while tightening them in. I was told thereâ€™s a learning curve. Thatâ€™s it. I understand I am a newer scroll saw user but I didnâ€™t have any problems with blades from other brands or other ones in the pack I received from Bear Woods. The blades are good when they donâ€™t break but I wish customer service gave me a better reason for all the blades that broke. The #3 blades are the ones I need most and now I have none left.

This sample pack is perfect! First off, these blades are the best I've used. Depending on what im scrolling, I go back and forth between all of these blades. So this sample pack was a perfect choice for me. If youre unsure of what blades to use for your project, grab this sample pack, and find which number you prefer. Bearwoods has a great guide on here, as well as their Instagram, as far as what number to use for what materials. Everyones preference is different. Find what works for you!

Hello Bear Woods,

I am an absolute beginner to scroll sawing. The Pegas blades are my very first purchase. Therefor, I'm not able to compare these to others.

Little to no sanding on most hardwoods. On softer, grainer woods, I get a good clean cut, but the natural characteristics of softer woods do require some sanding, but minimally.
Blades track beautifully if the workpiece is fed smoothly and lightly allowing the blade to cut a good course, versus pushing the feed which causes the blade to angle or cut too deep, but knowing that, you can compensate and still get superior results.

My order arrived five days after it was placed, even though it was the Christmas rush. Every item that was requested arrived. I am very pleased with the PEGAS blades, am able to cut a fairly straight line, and follow a curve with relative ease. Also these blades seem to have a very much longer serviceable life. Truthfully, I haven't even tried any blades in this kit yet because the one that came installed on my new Pegas scroll saw is perfect for me and it's still sharp as new. At this rate I won't have to buy blades again for a long time. I'll probably try some of the other blades soon and amend this review to include those.
