Spindles are exactly as needed except for the tenons. These need to go into 3/4" deep by 3/8" diameter holes, cut with a 3/8" Forstner. The tenons varied from an exact fit to 1/16" too thick, so I've have to sand them down to width on a lathe. Taking a bit of time with 30 spindles. Other than that, very nice.
